The Team
Workplace Operations & Supply Chain, through our services and applications are dedicated to providing an employee experience that drives innovation, collaboration, productivity, and transparency. Our Global Employee Operations Team is central in this effort, by providing platinum employee support to in excess of 22,000 employees and more than 500,000 annual visitors in more than 170 innovative offices around the world.
We are a close-knit, hardworking team made up of: Service Specialists, Service + Desktop Support, Audio-Visual, and Mobile Technology Support.
The Opportunity
The Global Employee Operations Team is integral to the smooth operation of the internal IT systems at Bloomberg. A core part of this group is made up of Service Desk and Desktop Support. This team forms Bloomberg's front line, providing level 1 & 2 support for all our employees.
Support is coordinated via a ticketing system, over the phone or Instant Message. The role will be a combination of providing remote and onsite support for PCs, Laptops, Mac's, Telephony & Peripherals. In addition to PC support, you will be looking after other areas such as Mobile Technology and AV systems.
Full training on the Bloomberg software will be given to the successful candidate.

- Provide software and hardware support in a Windows and Mac environment
- Have analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bring innovative ideas whilst demonstrating a genuine interest in customer service
- Support multiple inquiries via our internal ticketing system, chats and calls
- Handle and deliver small projects
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- The ability to quickly learn innovative technologies
- The ability to thrive in a high pressure and high paced environment
- Experience providing exceptional customer service
- Keep yourself up to date with the newest technologies
- Familiarity with the agile methodology
