DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Global Marketing Manager, Capital, VELYS ™ Robotic-Assisted Solution, Knees located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Have a passion and/or experience commercializing software and want to build new capabilities in the fast-paced market of Orthopaedic Digital Surgery globally? This Marketing Manager will report into the Global Senior Marketing Manager, Capital, Downstream for the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution and will lead the commercialization of new software launches and products for VELYS Digital Surgery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and launch new software versions and products within VELYS Digital Surgery.
- Support our capital strategy globally as we launch new software products across our care continuum.
- Shape the future of how software can help support surgeon needs and leverage key insights to make clinical decisions.
- Develop and define the global strategy to launch in existing markets while building new market expansion plans.
- Develop and define global Software strategies in partnership with our Marketing partners, Regional Teams, Fields Sales Teams, Research & Development, and cross functional partners to deliver a highly competitive value proposition to grow share faster than the market.
- Partner with Downstream team members to evolve our product positioning/messaging, partner with launch excellence teams, craft campaigns and marketing collateral to support the capital business.
- Demonstrate strong experience in product management & marketing, dynamic problem solver, business acumen, communications, public relations and strategic marketing will be key for this role.
- Proven understanding of Primary Knee Surgical Process and Robotics – including understanding market trends, competitive intelligence, and how software and hardware support a procedural approach to knee surgery.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (required) and MBA (preferred).
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant Marketing/Product Management/Product Introduction experience is required.
- Product Management and/or Product/Brand Marketing and Product Launch experience is required.
- Downstream, strategic marketing is required.
- Experience in Medical Devices or Orthopedics is preferred.
- Experience marketing and launching Software products is preferred
- Ability to monitor, analyze and report on business performance/health is required.
- Experience & competency in using market insights and analytics to develop Brand Strategy, Marketing Plans and translating these into consistent execution plans is required.
- Ability to prioritize and successfully lead multiple projects/priorities is required.
- Ability to work in a hands–on, fast paced, customer focused environment is required.
- Ability to work independently, proactively and with teams is required.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities/tight deadlines is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills are required.
- Ability to work with cadavers and within an Operating Room setting is required.
- Up to 40% domestic and international travel, including overnights and occasional weekends is required.
