Why should I apply?
As the Global Insurance Manager, you are responsible for the provision, development, and communication of expert insurance support to the Group and senior management, advise on best practice and lead with all Group corporate insurance.
How will I spend my time in this role?
To deliver and manage the end-to-end activities associated with the Group’s Insurance portfolio, facilitating the Group whilst ensuring legal and contract obligations are met and risk managed in accordance with internal policy and procedure, including but not limited to:
- Advise the Group on all insurance matters, from day-to-day queries to supporting new Group activities.
- Provide insurance solutions to support the Group growth agenda.
- Develop enhanced awareness of insurance requirements in the broader Group, supporting continuous improvement and enhancing Group processes.
- Understand the Group business risks and risk appetite to ensure adequate insurance cover aligned with risk management principles of the Group.
- Co-ordinate risk management measures between the Group and insurers/brokers.
- Support the wider Risk Management activities of the Group as appropriate developing a collectively robust view on risk exposures, mitigations, and subsequent cost of premium for insurable risks.
- Assist in the Group governance and reporting.
- Ensure insurance portfolio management (set-up of policies, renewals, compliance, claim management, etc.)
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Experienced in the commercial/corporate insurance/reinsurance market either in the underwriting or broker environment or experience as an insurance or risk manager in industry.
- Proven evidence of interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to support the fostering of positive working relationships and collaboration.
- Experience in working with stakeholders at all levels and building trust through delivery.
- Proven ability to deliver effective briefings and reports to all levels of the Group.
- Proven ability of developing and establishing policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to act strategically to deliver results to the benefit of the Group

What does hybrid working mean to us?
Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
