Job description
Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver for our busy client based in Witham on a temporary to permanent basis.
Our client is looking for hardworking, motivated, and driven individuals to work with their fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading a variety of goods within the warehouse.
The successful candidate will need to have their own transport due to company location.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Unload and load incoming and outgoing vehicles
· Moving pallets of goods around the warehouse
· Checking loads are secure
· General warehouse duties
· Ensuring safe practices are maintained
· Always maintaining a clean & tidy yard
· Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
· Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
· Valid Driving Licence
· Ideally will have some previous warehouse experience
· Literate and numerate, understanding pick sheets
· Ideally will have used digital scanners
· Familiar with manual handling practises
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
In return our client offers a salary of £13.00 per hour.
