Role and Responsibilities

1. Managing engagements, teams delivering immigration services to clients worldwide

2. Overseeing service delivery and KPIs

3. Leading immigration due diligence and compliance audits for clients.

4. Immigration Technology – Identifying opportunities to use technology to solve clients’ problems and improve client service delivery, co-managing the rollout of new technology to clients.

5. Business development – Participating in client proposals and presentations, identifying and maximise new opportunities across various business sectors globally.

6. Managing a team – identify the team’s training and development requirements, ensuring the team receives sufficient support and coaching. Taking up a Performance Manager role and contribute to the team’s overall development.

7. Risk and Finance - Managing client onboarding, contracting, pricing, WIP management and billing


Experience Required


The applicant will have experience of handling a wide range of corporate immigration engagements. In addition, the applicant will have in-depth knowledge and experience of global immigration trends.

Experience in helping clients set up suitable governance related to prevention of illegal working, business travel and commuting are vital as are core coordination skills, and the ability to manage various stakeholders.

The applicant will also have experience of advising alongside other professionals (such as tax or employment specialists) and an understanding of the immigration elements of cross-border transactions, including emerging Covid-19 related issues such as travel corridors and working from anywhere.

This is a growing team and the role will suit an ambitious immigration professional with the desire and ability to play an important role in continuing that growth. There will be an expectation that the successful applicant will help promote the team’s work through participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing articles for publication. The successful applicant will be organised and efficient, able to produce consistently high-quality work within demanding time frames but not afraid to ask questions to challenge or seek clarification when appropriate. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in managing a portfolio of clients and supervising junior staff.

Education and Qualifications

KPMG is looking for a confident client-facing immigration professional, with strong global immigration experience and inter-personal skills.

It is expected that the successful applicant will have at least 7 years of relevant immigration experience, including 2 years as a manager, in a Big 4 or equivalent firm.
