The Electrical Carbon Business of Morgan Advanced Materials designs and manufactures a broad range of high performance solutions for rotary transfer systems, linear transfer systems and electrical carbon systems.

Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Global HR Director, Operations and Supply Chain, this role will require strong cross-site and cross-functional collaboration across the globe, with our Global HR Community, External Stakeholders, and strong collaboration with the HR Projects Manager – Electrical Carbon. You will provide tangible support and help towards the site HR Managers in dealing with the referenced HR functions, by both hands-on activities and by shaping and adjusting the processes to be deployable in all locations. Taking sufficient time for listening and providing guidance, you will create a collaborative, efficient and ambitious Learning and Development, Recruitment and Employee Wellbeing strategy for the Operations and Supply Chain function.
Functions will include Learning & Development, Resourcing, Engagement and Wellbeing, with key performance metrics and objectives in training completion rates, process compliance metrics and engagement scores. This is a remote position, based near any of the Electrical Carbon operational sites that we have globally.

Responsibilities:
As the HR Specialist you will work as part of the Operations and Supply Chain HR organization in the Electrical Carbon Global Business Unit. This position is responsible for developing, improving, supporting and coordinating the Learning and Development, Recruitment and Engagement related activities of the Operations and Supply Chain function, including the roll-out of a standard Talent Review process, the management of our Early Careers, Language Development, Senior Recruitment, Employer Branding, Leadership and Functional development programmes, Shopfloor Competency Development, Mentorship programme and Communications Plan, in order to support the achievement of our strategic priorities.

- Degree in Human Resources Management, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Progressive experience in Learning and Development.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills as well as exceptional relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access); advanced proficiency in Excel preferred.
- Advanced English knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge of employment law.
- Must be able to maintain employee confidentiality
- Global business travel will be required
- International experience beneficial
