We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Global Head of Supplier Relationship.
The Global Head of Supplier Relationship will report into the Global Head of Implementation. The role holder will co-ordinate with regional and in-country Solutions Implementation teams to establish a supplier engagement and penetration strategy for Supply Chain programs. This includes the marketing of SCF programmes to their suppliers for all SCS programmes globally.
The role will have accountability for contributing to and following the global best practices for, building and managing GTRF’s Supplier On-boarding strategies and associated activities, including the formalisation of Supplier on-boarding methodologies, creation of supplier marketing tools and techniques, supplier engagement strategies, supplier on-boarding demand and capacity management regionally/in-country and associated program / portfolio management regionally/in-country.
The Global Head of Supplier Relationship will manage all in country Supplier Onboarding Managers to conduct SCS portfolio analysis and management; to ensure that Supplier activity and utilisation is maximise and will be responsible for providing data to the global level for effective program management globally.
In this role, you will:
- Responsible for ensuring that suppliers understand the benefits of SCS and take up the facility with the bank. If required, be able to provide detailed working capital analysis of suppliers to ensure that the benefits of the programme are understood by the suppliers
- Represent HSBC’s SCS programme at supplier conferences or events as organized by the bank or by the buyers
- Be responsible for all sales, technical, practical support and training to Suppliers as part of the end-to-end Implementation Lifecycle to support the Supplier’s utilization of HSBC’s SCS products
- Be accountable for and lead a team of in-country Supplier Onboarding Managers for domestic and cross-border SCS transactions
- Conduct regular reviews with direct reports to ensure projects/actions are on track and that deadlines are met. Prepare/coordinate presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Regular liaison with internal stakeholders including Regional/In-country Head of Sales, BDM’s, Coverage teams and Global and Regional Head of Solution Implementation to analysis Supplier Onboarding strategies and utilisation.
- Create reports and on-boarding plans as required and provide analysis of data for, but not exclusive to MI and P&L of Supplier Onboarding
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Direct line management and working experience within Procurement
- Direct line management experience of a sales and/or client facing role
- Experience of working in a relevant busy and challenging environment
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with experience of working under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of GTRF system and experience of working in the Trade and RF industry/business.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation preparation.
The base location for this role is London with Hybrid working. You will be required to travel to the office 2 days per week.
