Job Description & Principal Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and driven. Reporting to the Global Events Manager and Directors, this home-based role with the opportunity to travel overseas attending & hosting industry events.

You must meet the following criteria:

  • Ability to travel overseas and flexible working hours.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • Confident with the ability to build & develop new connections.

Additionally, the following criteria would be a big bonus:

  • Knowledge of The Market Research Industry.
  • Experience in selling sponsorship.
  • Experience in event management.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing new and existing accounts. Building and developing relationships.
  • Willingness to travel overseas - attending industry events, conferences, networking parties, social meetings along with hosting and managing our social events.
  • End-to-end event management.
  • Working closely with the Global Events Manager, assisting with marketing campaigns prospecting new business to ensure targets are met. Provide management information data on sales targets and pipeline.
  • Ensure that contact databases of target companies are maintained, and deadlines are met.
  • Assisting with marketing, creating content advertising campaigns, and social media channels.
  • Copywriting e.g. articles, newsletters, creation of multimedia content.
  • Assisting with the organisation of the events and hosting.
  • Website management / maintenance.

Annual base Salary: £30,0000. For this part time position, it will be £15,000 per annum

Days/hours of work: 2.5 (two and half) days per week, a day is comprised of 9.5 hours with one hour for lunch, 86 (21.5 per week) working hours per month. This will vary week by week and we will review at end of each month and every three months. Take time off in lieu where hours exceeded. You are required to advise your Direct Line Manager of your weekly working hours and complete a time sheet at the end of each week along with completed task list.

Benefits: 10 days paid holiday per annum in addition to any statutory bank holidays. 5 days sick leave on full pay per annum. Pension contribution. Annual Bonus, flexible working hours, home based position with the opportunity to travel overseas.
