The GCT Coverage Group manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors and Corporates across the full GCT product spectrum. The team works closely with the trading and structuring groups across Deutsche Bank’s investment banking platform to deliver multiple products and services to the Bank’s clients.
You will have primary responsibility for covering the London mid-cap private equity community, using this interaction to source opportunities for, amongst others, the Bank’s Direct Lending, Fund Financing and Venture Debt teams, as well as ancillary opportunities for risk management and Private Banking.

Your key responsibilities
Relationship management of the Bank’s mid-cap private equity client base in London (networked with colleagues based in Europe tasked with covering other geographic markets)
Partnering with GCT product and structuring product teams, as well as other colleagues across the Bank in order to provide winning solutions to this important group of clients
Acting as the GCT product champion and go-to-person for the UK team, and acting as the GCT UK ambassador in London
Supporting with the development of team members
Your skills and experience
Extensive knowledge of the European mid-cap private equity market and proven value-added relationships across the key participants in this space
Strong knowledge of the key products utilised by this customer group, such as Unitranche, Stretched Senior and fund financing facilities
Entrepreneurial skills, prioritising resources to maximise outcome and value for client
Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organisations
Advanced with respect to analytical skills, ability to interpret business and economic data and assess the implications of both with regards to client requirements
