A large UK independent leader within the materials handling industry is looking for an Field Service Engineer within the Wolverhampton area. Due to a successful few years their business is going from strength to strength and is looking to expand their team as a result. A fully racked van is on offer with 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays), pension, tablet and premium overtime rates and much more.

As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Servicing and repairing fork lift trucks.
• Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient 'can-do' attitude
• Completion of reports for each job on a PDA system
• Reporting job status to the company Manager
• Efficient time management

A Field Service Engineer will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Friendly and outgoing individual
• Works well individually but is a good team player
• Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, HGV Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Car Mechanic.
• Relevant qualifications but would consider time served
• Be well-organised, methodical and process-driven
• Ability to think out of the box and adept at fault finding
• Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite

A successful Field Service Engineer will receive the following salary and benefits:

• Salary up to £32,000 D.O.E (OTE £35k )
• Overtime available and paid at 1.5 hours

• 25 days holidays Bank Holidays

• Full 1 on 1 training with other experienced Field Service Engineers within the business.
