The Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s ambition to create long-term value as the world’s most trusted and distinctive global professional services organization. We work hand in hand with the business to take services and solutions to market; bring our purpose – building a better working world – to life for our people, clients and communities; engage our people and build a high performing culture; and to build the commercial value and emotional resonance of the EY brand.
The function is made up of around 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive and Regions in the following areas of specialism: Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications & Employee Engagement; and Corporate Communications.
BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. Through the collective power of BMC, and the other teams and specialists we work with, we aim to build a better working world by driving commercial value through distinctive marketing and communications that deliver measurable market impact.
The opportunity

We are looking for a driven, creative self-starter to join our great communications and engagement team and help us bring our people along as we undergo our own transformation to help us achieve this ambition.
Reporting to the Global Consulting Communications & Engagement Leader, you will support the deliver of Global Consulting business objectives by facilitating effective and inspiring internal communications and engagement activity. You will lead our relationships with the heads of Talent and Markets for Global Consulting, and will play an integral part in delivering communications that engage audiences of over 115,000 EY practitioners across more than 150 countries.
As an experienced communicator, you will be expected to work with your peers to co-create and align behind our overall Communications and Engagement strategic direction and global planning. You’ll help to ensure consistency in how we deliver audience-centric, data-driven communications across EY, as part of our CE Transformation ambitions.

Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will play an important part in helping to shape and lead the execution of our internal communications and engagement across Consulting globally as well as across EY. You will work closely with leaders to design and execute an internal communications strategy to suppor the delivery of business priorities, with a particular focus on how we go to market and work with clients as well as support our Talent and people agenda. Your remit will include both complex projects which will need your leadership over a period of months, and short-term communication needs that are executed in response to internal and external events. You will be responsible for leading communications to partners, leaders and all people in Consulting across a range of topics from internal activation of external marketing campaigns to activation of our employee value proposition. You will also contribute to firmwide messaging on strategic issues, particularly around the transformation agenda. Day-to-day responsibilities include a significant focus on writing, producing internal webcasts, creating videos and providing counsel to Consulting leaders and their teams.- You’ll also work collaboratively with BMC colleagues at the global and area levels to help ensure integrated activities and consistent messaging across the business and EY. This will include brand activation, go-to-market, talent initiatives and operational requirements.
- To be successful, you’ll need to be able to think strategically, be comfortable driving innovation and be able enlist others to carry out your strategic vision. You will also manage and develop one member of the team who is located in our Global Delivery Services in India.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level- Significant strategic internal communications experience with a proven track record in supporting executive teams
- Experience managing and influencing others, particularly in global environments
- Experience working with internal and third-party suppliers who deliver creative services including video editing, graphic design and Office document production
- Outstanding communication abilities, including stellar writing and copy-editing skills
- A proven ability to be flexible and shift priorities based on business needs
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience working in internal and external communications- High level of influencing and networking skills
- Ability to challenge views/perspectives while securing buy-in within BMC and beyond
- Experience with the use of a variety of internal channels (especially digital channels) to deliver initiatives to targeted audiences
