Become a Glasgow Walking Tour Guide!

We are looking to add to our team of tour guides in Glasgow. You need to be friendly, love meeting new people, flexible and happy to share your passion for Glasgow to people from all walks of life. Confidence speaking in front of large groups of people is a must.

Walking Tours in Scotland provides city walking walking tours in towns and cities across Scotland. We have a passion for sharing the beauty of Scotland with locals and tourists from across the world, and wish to make every visitor’s experience phenomenal.

Hours:

  • Part Time Position.
  • City Centre Tours last 1.5 hours each, beginning at 10:30am and 5pm.
  • Street Art Tours last 1.5 hours each, beginning at 2pm.
  • Plus additional private tours. Likely 4-8 tours a week throughout the summer, moving to variable once the season ends in October.

This job is very suitable for students, retired individuals and those looking for a part-time role to earn some extra cash and are excited about sharing their passion and knowledge for Glasgow.

Skills and competency requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Historical knowledge and passion for Glasgow.
  • Friendly and approachable.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Must be reliable and responsible.
  • Confidence talking in front of large groups.
