Generator Service Engineers

WB Power Services are currently recruiting Generator Service Engineers. This is a superb opportunity for Generator Service Engineers to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for driven and motivated Generator Service Engineers to support the team through these exciting times.

The Role

  • Planned and reactive service and maintenance of generators.
  • Service, fault find and carry out breakdown repairs.
  • Liaising with Service coordinators at head office for planning purposes.
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification of the system.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Participate in the regional on-call rota. (1 in 5 on average).
  • Adherence to the company H&S, environmental and quality management systems.
  • Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.
  • Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time.

The Person

  • Experience Servicing generators is hugely advantageous but not essential.
  • Any experience in a mobile engineering position is attractive.
  • Familiar with electronics & mechanical components (including engines and Alternators).
  • Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
  • The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
