General Warehouse Operative - Northampton
7am – 3pm, Monday to Friday
£10.00 - £11.50 per hour

We are a small, fast-growing team based in Upper Heyford, Northamptonshire (off Junction 16 of the M1).
Due to our continued expansion, we are currently recruiting for a full time General Warehouse Operative, working 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends). This is a varied role assisting the Warehouse with general everyday duties.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out regular stock checks
- Ensuring the warehouse area is kept clean and tidy by regular sweeping up/cleaning duties throughout the day
- Picking and packing of orders during busy periods/staff absences
- Assisting our Goods In Operative, accurately booking in deliveries against delivery notes, ensuring missing or damaged items are recorded
- Loading and unloading deliveries using the counterbalance forklift truck
- Moving and storing products to relevant warehouse locations (currently two buildings)
- Adhering to health and safety regulations surrounding working in the warehouse environment
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Previous warehouse experience working in a fast paced environment
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Good attention to detail
- Forklift truck licence essential (counterbalance preferable)
- The ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team environment
- Previous stock movement experience
- Previous experience of prioritising own work load
