Job description
Gap personnel are working with an amazing client in Peterborough who are recruiting for a Packing Operatives on a Temporary basis.
The role of Packing Operatives is to working as a team, with colleagues, to complete packing tasks in a timely manner whilst ensuring the quality of the product and the safety of yourself and co-workers is not compromised.
Full training provided on site for the role, so no experience needed, being able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Hours: Monday to Friday; 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
Pay: £10.42 PH
The Packing Operative job will involve:
- Complete tasks on the production line including making boxes, putting bottles onto the production line, labelling, capping, or stacking pallets
- Ensure the quality standards for the product are maintained
- Ensure the safety information for the product is understood before by all staff on the task before starting.
- Undertake shift and weekend work where required
- Ensure that at all times general housekeeping is kept to a high standard
Candidate Requirements:
- Transport
- Good communication skills
- Entitlement to work in the UK is essential
