Job description
Supervision of the General Office snd Reception function, including supervision of staff. To provide a comprehensive range of services within the Mental Health Directorate,
liaising as necessary with staff, patients and their relatives. To be responsible for the ordering and invoicing of stock and stationery.
To be responsible for the safety of patients’ property and valuables held in the custody of the Trust during a patient’s admission, paying due regard to the procedural guidelines initiated by the Directorate for this purpose.
Day to day responsibility of the petty cash and banking function for the service.
Dealing efficiently, precisely and courteously with telephone callers and visitors to the General Office.
Devising and maintaining systems that are appropriate to the needs of the service.

To supervise the patient’s banking procedures, within the General Office function ensuring that all withdrawals and balancing of accounts are made in accordance to the Standing Financial Instructions.
To use the Paris system to monitor patient movement.
To purchase and distribute patient specific requirements from patient accounts.
