General Manager | Luxury Provider | Residential elderly & dementia care
Salary circa £70,000 per annum plus bonus

Our valued client is looking to recruit an experienced General Manager for a large luxury care home in the Exeter area. The successful candidate will need to have strong CQC knowledge and experience as a home manager, as well as having solid financial awareness.
The role
Reporting into the Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the service and maintaining quality standards
To establish and develop links in the local community.
Marketing of the service to ensure the homes standards and reputation in the area is maintained and increased.
Responsible for assisting with recruitment, HR Issues, Training and general leadership of the homes and the staff.
Requirements
Proven experience within Home Management (Minimum of 2 year)
Ideally have Management qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent)
Ideally have experience in dementia setting
Understanding of the compliance guidelines
CQC and safeguarding knowledge
Genuine passion in elderly care.
Location
This role is based in Exeter and is commutable from Torquay, Dawlish, Exmouth, Plymouth, Honiton, Chard, Sidmouth and other surrounding areas.
Interview Process
The interview process will be a 2 stage format. The first stage will be with the head of recruitment and the regional manager. Second stage with be with the Operations Manager and one of the Directors.
