No 1 PHD Limited is a 24/7 emergency plumbing, heating and drainage business. It is fast paced and expanding with a first class reputation for customer service. We are looking for a detail orientated, outstanding, energetic and driven person to join our team in Bournemouth/Poole. Reporting to the Directors, the successful applicant will be willing to go the extra mile. Due to the nature of the business there will be a requirement for evening and weekend coverage which is reflected in the package offered.
Salary £60-120k plus bonus depending on experience
The No1 PHD Limited Operations Manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the business.
The specific duties include formulating strategy, improving performance, hiring good resource and ensuring robust compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.

Responsibilities
Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way to improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee stock efficiency
Ensure the organisation’s processes remain compliant
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Manage budgets and forecasts Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
Recruit, train and supervise staff
Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Requirements and skills:
Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
Experience budgeting and forecasting
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent communication skills Leadership ability
Outstanding organisational skills
Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field an advantage
