We’re still looking for a fantastic General Manager for this stunning pub, The Huntsman in Bath.
We are looking for a General Manager who has a passion for running a multifaceted business and unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional service and standards. Having completed building works, The Huntsman now has a full wedding licence, to host that special day!! Weddings and Events will play a pivotal role in the evolution of The Huntsman, but all the while maintaining the warm hospitality of a great pub!
Not only is The Huntsman a great pub, but it is also a thriving events hotspot in Bath City Centre. It boasts two function rooms on the first floor, ideal for any kind of occasion, from birthdays to corporate events, we have it all covered. Both rooms are licensed for wedding ceremonies.
Located close to The Abbey, Roman Baths and Bath Rugby Club, The Huntsman attracts a varied demographic of customers but really does cater to all their needs. Georgian in style, guests are greeted in a lovely bar with high ceilings and stunning décor. Upstairs there’s plenty more space that can be used for events or to simply expand the capacity of the site. The design of the pub means that it can be transformed from a cosy, relaxing environment to enjoy a Bloody Mary on a Sunday afternoon to a lively bar, able to easily cope with the numbers that a premiership rugby match will attract.
This position is not a first-time appointment, but is perfect for an existing General Manager, with wedding & events experience, looking for a new challenge in an exciting business in this beautiful city centre location.
The role is offered with live-in accommodation.

You’ll need to be commercially minded, making the right decisions to keep customers pouring through the doors. Importantly though, you’ll be a people-person too - mindful that to many, you’re still a good old-fashioned ‘Landlord’.
