Join our client's friendly team at Newport Docks as a General/Assembly Operative! This position offers the opportunity for temp-to-perm employment following a successful trial period. You will work Monday to Friday, with alternating shifts: 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00. The role involves utilizing hand tools for assembly tasks.
Job Description: As a General/Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for various assembly tasks using hand tools. Your role will contribute to the efficient and smooth operation of the assembly line. You will work in a supportive team environment, collaborating with colleagues to meet production targets and ensure high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assembly tasks according to established guidelines and procedures.
Utilize hand tools to complete assembly work accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Previous experience in assembly work is desirable but not essential.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage.

Good communication skills.
Reliable and punctual with excellent timekeeping.
