We have a fantastic opportunity for a General Manager to join our dynamic team at The Belfry, England’s leading Hotel and Resort reporting into our Resort Director. Our award winning resort has 319 bedrooms, Rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf.
As our General Manager, you will be an expert in your field and recognised as a leader of people. You will have the ability to manage a complex matrix of facilities. You will be responsible for executing our resort strategy and managing day to day operations whilst working alongside our Executive Directors.
Key duties of the General Manager…
- Leading on key operational areas within our Kitchens, Housekeeping, Reception, Leisure, Spa, Food & Beverage, Meeting & Events and Maintenance, to ensure the smooth running of the resort
- Helping to shape, develop and implement strategies to achieve the resort’s key objectives
- Enabling and driving the guest experience to deliver service excellence at all times
- Coaching, developing, and acting as a role model to, all direct reports and the wider teams
- Working proactively with all key stakeholders delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and resolutions
- Ensuring adherence and compliance with all legislation & due diligence requirements
- Being proactively involved in budget planning to optimise revenue
- Developing business activities, objectives and best practices, using your experience to provide recommendations that will drive financial performance and provide added value
