Incipio are looking for a General Manager to run Pergola on the Wharf, a high volume and events lead venue in need of a nurturing, detail orientated and proactive leader.
Our General Managers are pro-active, engaging and accountable leaders in their businesses. Taking full ownership for the daily running and forward planning of their venues, people and P&L sheets.
They bring imagination, joy and a boundless passion for incredible people, outstanding hospitality and commerciality in every aspect of their business.
We expect you to:
- Have full autonomy and ownership of your business including the financial conversion, people development and operation
- Have experience leading large sized teams in high volume premium venues
- Be an undisputable leader in your business.
- Implement structure to all aspects of your business and empower your management team to do the same.
- Be obsessed with service standards, guest experience and people development.
- Have a big heart and want to impart your knowledge onto your team.
- Commercially courageous, ready to make calculated risks using your insight and expertise
- Take full responsibility for the health and safety of your guests and team while inside and leaving the venue.
- Motivate and support your team providing priceless insight into your business and your venue.
- Adapt quickly to changing environments, taking on new challenges
- Ownership and preparation of all upcoming events
- Communicate effectively and clearly.
- Ask for support when it is needed.
- Have fun, bring energy and good vibes
