Job description
We are a record shop, bar and venue space so a passion and experience within music industry is equally as important as experience within hospitality.
Roles of the General manager:
- Staff management - rota, wellbeing
- Stock ordering
- Artist liaison/event management
- Operations manager
- Stock control (responsible for making sure the bar is fully stocked, keeping tabs on sales of
products, doing regular stock checks to keep track on wastage/missing stock)
- making sure that our hygiene standards are at the highest level
- sanitary products for customer and staff are always available
- food and drinks is being handled appropriately
- Must be a clear leader
- to ensure the safety of staff and customers who are within the place of work
- all government regulations for health and safety within the workplace are revised and abided by
- Appropriately delegate roles to staff members
- Point of contact for artists, chefs and any other person(s) hosting an event
The Employee shall:
- perform the best of their ability all the duties of the job;
- do all in his power to promote, develop and extend the Employers business;
- comply with the reasonable directions of the Employer
- Align themselves with the ethos of Next Door Records
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: From £27,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
