About the role…
As a General Manager you will think about every aspect of the business - from how to build a brilliant team, to boosting sales and revenues, achieving the highest company standards and guest satisfaction results.
You will maintain close involvement in all operations, multi-skilling the team to ensure an efficient but effective business, as well as creating a fun atmosphere and ensuring a highly personalised and locally inspired guest experience. An inspiring leader, you will establish clear performance goals for the team, providing regular feedback and coaching in the moment. You will need to know how to place the hotel at the centre of all communications, marketing initiatives and ensure your team use social media to connect with the neighbourhood and potential guests, using this channel to maximise revenue.
You’ll be keeping track of figures and look for ways to increase revenue. That means analysing financials, forecasting budgets and leading capital plans.
About you…
You will have experience in a branded environment and/ or a luxury boutique hotel. Whilst hands on when the demand suits, you will also have a commercial focus and know all parts of your business- driving and monitoring guest experience and commercial success. You will be a passionate hotelier with a proven track record of engaging a team.
