Mantra Club & Lounge is looking for an experienced General Manger to join our prestigious team based in Central Norwich. The General Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the venue operations, ensuring impeccable standards throughout, commercial success and the development of the team, representing both the venue and the brand values at all times in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support and drive the management team in all day-to-day activities
- Manage all aspects of preparation and operation of the venue
- Manage all staff and contractors operating the venue, including recruitment, training, motivation, discipline/policy enforcement and Payroll administration
- Oversee all cash handling systems and finance reporting
- Be responsible for Health & Safety related matters, ensuring appropriate checks, risk assessments and incident reporting in a timely manner
- Ensuring the development and implementation of training programs and managing the team to provide the very best in customer service
- Advise and assist in any club events or business projects requiring club-specific operational input
The Successful candidate:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as an General Manager in a late night venue or nightclub/bar
- Experience in the licensed trade
- A personal license
- An authoritative communicator
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
