Practice Manager responsibilities:
- Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment.
- Planning income targets for the practice, then reviewing & analysing P&L to ensure you achieve or exceed these targets.
- Monitoring KPIs & support clinicians to achieve their targets.
- Proactively driving marketing decsions and strategising with our marketing team to help drive new patient numbers, conversions and retention.
- Ensuring the practice meets General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and legislative guidelines.
- Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff.
Other responsibilities, duties and roles:
- To provide support to our clinic assistants on all aspects of the front desk operations of the clinic. Including all aspects of diary management: booking and amending client appointments, taking client payments, liaising with client insurance companies and solving any general client queries.
- To take responsibility for ensuring the accurate running of everyday tasks within the clinic and within a timely manner.
- To participate in regular training of policies and procedures as well as running practice meetings at least once a fortnight.
- To attend educational conferences, seminars and workshops when required to do so.
- To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.
- To action any tasks that have been delegated to you by the director.
- You will be required to provide support to all practitioners and carry out any ad-hoc duties or tasks as requested by any single practitioner and the director.
Practice Manager skills and experience:
- Commercially minded.
- Confident leading a team of between 15 – 30 staff.
- Understanding how to generate income and control costs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Customer service experience
- Sales and marketing experience
- Able to effectively manage difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise.
- Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including doctors, your practice team and patients.
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000+ dependant on experience and reaching performance based bonuses and incentives.
