ABOUT CHATIME ATLANTIC
Chatime is a global franchise teahouse chain operating with over 1,000 outlets in 30 countries. As one of the largest international bubble tea brands, Chatime sells over 100 million cups of bubble tea every year and is the first public listed bubble tea company in history.
Chatime Atlantic owns the exclusive franchise right of Chatime for Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick region. As of today, the company operates six stores in Halifax (NS),
one store in Nee Glasgow (NS) two stores in Moncton (NB), one store in Fredericton (NB), one store in Charlottetown (PEI) and one store in Sydney (NS).
THE OPPORTUNITY
Since Chatime started its first store in Halifax six years ago, we have grown from a business with one location into a chain of storesacross Atlantic Canada. To help ensure efficient operations while growing geographically and building brand, we require an inspired, experienced and collaborative Reginal General Manager. Reporting to the company’s executive management team, the GM will lead staff of Chatime Atlantic using the highest level of personal and work ethics and business conduct. The GM works collaboratively with the executive management team to develop and implement the corporate strategy and is given the responsibility of the day to day management of Chatime Atlantic.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Lead and manage all Chatime stores in the Atlantic regions; Direct day-to-day operation of each store through local store managers.
- Lead, in collaboration with the company’s executive management team, Board of Directors and Taiwan HQ, companystrategy. Set comprehensive corporate goals for performance and growth.
- Plan and organize multiple development projects simultaneously
- Proactively research and identify new development opportunities and providing guidance in strategy and execution
- Provide leadership and oversight for advertising campaigns
- Act on the business strategy developed by the management team and BOD and any other opportunities that they may identify and incorporate into the business strategy
- Communicate to the executive management team and BOD on the overall progress of results to the operational and financial plan/budget and provide an analysis of variance and recommendations for improvement Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential franchisees and other parties (e.g. forwarders)
- Responsible for all personnel. Ensure the team is motivated and aligned with our vision and values through effective communication, and being an excellent role model.
- Oversee the talent identification and acquisition process for the company
- Provide leadership that encourages team participation. Improve business performance through balancing cost reductions, capacity increases, quality and continuous improvement.
- Review, evaluate and improve SOPs.
- Attend head office and on-site meetings as required
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- University degree (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in business or other related industry.
Experience
- Five years or more experience in progressively senior roles in an operations and retail base business environment or financial institutions would be an asset.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Skilled at developing and monitoring performance metrics
- Provided leadership to diverse teams.

COMPENSATION
Chatime Atlantic provides all of its employees with an extremely competitive and attractive compensation package. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
