As a Hospital Support Administrator at our Tees hospital, you will support the coordination and administration of our recruitment activities, including the coordination of interviews and some pre-employment activities i.e., DBS checks, enabling a positive candidate experience. The role will also see you providing effective administrative support within the hospital by supporting cross-department leads across a range of administrative tasks while managing information appropriately. What’s more, you know how to present this in a timely and professional manner. Ideally, you have an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration and/or HR administration experience, but this isn’t essential.
As a Hospital Support Administrator, you will:
Provide efficient, timely and effective administrative support as required.
Help process invoices and payments in compliance with financial procedures.
Help with data entry and record keeping in a timely manner.
Support local absence management recording and reporting via Workday.
Provide confidential administration and coordination support, including organising meetings.
Handle queries within the remit of own role and escalate more complex / serious issues to senior staff or subject matter experts where required.
Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity of all information and data.
Help hiring managers with recruitment administration, including at times scheduling or rescheduling interviews with candidates, ensuring candidates receive prompt and clear feedback following interviews, liaising with Talent Acquisition Managers where required.
Manage, monitor, and process local DBS checks, highlighting issues to hiring managers and the onboarding team as appropriate.
Support candidate queries raised by email or phone.
