Job Title: General Manager - Agricultural Seed Coating Company
Job Summary: Our company is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our agricultural seed coating operations. The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business, including overseeing daily operations, managing financial performance, implementing strategic plans, and developing and leading the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, seed coating, and business management, and will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the business, including operations, finance, sales, and marketing
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and profitability
- Lead and manage the team to ensure high-quality products and services are delivered to customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry partners
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks
- Develop and manage budgets, financial statements, and performance metrics to ensure financial sustainability and profitability
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental policies
- Foster a positive and collaborative company culture that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and excellence
- Continuously improve and optimize processes and operations to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in agriculture, seed coating, or related industry, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth and profitability
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience in managing budgets, financial statements, and performance metrics
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental policies in the agricultural industry
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management software
