Location: Macclesfield
Salary: £15 - £20 per hour
Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday and some Saturdays
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced phlebotomist to join our team initially on a permanent ad-hoc basis at our new state of the art private medical clinic in Macclesfield
We are looking for Phlebotomists who have availability Monday to Friday including some Saturdays. Availability can work around existing commitments with flexibility in working schedule and hours.
We are looking for Phlebotomists who MUST have at least 1 years’ recent experience of taking bloods, it is a necessity for this role that you must hold this experience.
Requirements:
- 1 years’ experience of blood draws.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Committed and flexible.
- Team player.
Role:
- Safely drawing blood from patients and explaining the process to them
- Registering the blood and storing it in the correct environment
- Sending samples off to the lab
- Updating patient medical records
- Be responsible for disposing sharps and clinical waste according to company policies and compliance with health and safety
