Overview
Be responsible for profitability. Control budgets and optimise expenses. Ensure employees are motivated and productive. Ensure food hygiene and health and safety compliance. Maintain relationships with local businesses and act as a brand ambassador in the local area.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Oversee day-to-day operations.
· Design strategy and set goals for growth.
· Maintain budgets and optimise expenses.
· Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
· Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
· Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
· Prepare regular reports for senior management.
· Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
· Ensure team follow food hygiene regulations.
· Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).
· Manage relationships with local businesses and other market traders.
Qualifications and Skills
· Proven experience in a leadership role in a food retail environment.
· Experience in planning and budgeting.
· Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.).
· Strong analytical ability.
· Excellent communication, organisations and leadership skills.
· Problem-solving aptitude.

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
