Job description
Bean Coffee Roasters - Store Manager Job Opportunity
We are looking to expand our management team in our Liverpool ONE store!
We are looking for a passionate and energetic manager from a hospitality background to manage our flagship store in Liverpool ONE.
What are we looking for?
Being a store manager with us at Bean means you have full responsibility of your shop, running it as if it was your own, making sure your store has the best team, customer experience, training and more!
The fun stuff...
When we look at our store managers, they all have many things in common; a love of good coffee, friendly whilst also being professional, they never say 'that's not my job', we all work together, and just being great all-round people. That’s what we are looking for!
By being part of the team, you are a brand ambassador, you live and breathe good coffee, but also making it accessible for everyone. We believe everyone can make a good brew, it's just up to you to share that knowledge with your team and customers. Every manager gets to have a tour of the roastery to do training with the team, and learn all the secrets that go into a great cup of coffee.
We're a social bunch, so there are many times throughout the year we will get together for a good time. From staff parties to coffee events, and even charity fun days!
About the role…
We're looking for a multi-tasking maestro that can wear many hats throughout the day!
It's important for us that managers are a role models to the team they have in their stores, but also be approachable and communicative in that. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role with transferrable skills and great drive to adapt their approach to the needs of the business as they see fit. This person should also have good knowledge of stock control, epos software and the need for financial accountability.
Your focus…
Your focus as a store manager is to be committed to running the best store possible. We have full confidence in managers to complete financial tasks, orders, keeping track of stock, management diaries and health & safety standards. You can make this possible by:
- Supporting and managing your teams performance by having exceptional knowledge of all roles within the store.
- Training and coaching new members of the team to deliver high standards, extraordinary service and valuing each team members potential.
- Making sure each customer has the best time when they visit our stores. Use your knowledge of the products to enhance their experience. We believe nothing is too much of an ask, if they want that extra extra hot skinny decaf latte, they are getting it!
- Always being in the know by keeping up to date with key comms and emails from our Community Manager and your multi-site manager, including attending all meetings. We also love to take part in local activities going on near your store, so keep your ears open for anything happening!
- Taking full responsibility for your stores performance, giving feedback to the team and providing senior management on progress and sales.
The above list is not exhaustive or inclusive, as there are lots of other duties that come to day-to-day life when being a store manager here at Bean.
