General Manager/s for The Three Crowns, Chagford, Devon
Inns of Cornwall and Devon are looking for a management team to run our incredible busy site in Chagford, Devon. We operate a non-branded, individual style of operation for both food and drink within a small collection of award-winning pubs, restaurants and hotels based in the Southwest - view our locations at www.innsofcornwallanddevon.co.uk.
We need a team with excellent customer service skills, someone with general manager experience in a busy high-volume environment and the knowledge to oversee the front, back of house and accommodation departments. We need someone who can control the business on a daily basis with an understanding of sales, gross profits and the ability to ensure that all KPIs are met. We need someone who can train and mould a team to ensure the food, service and standards are always of the highest quality.
The Three Crowns is a multi-award winning country inn with 21 bedrooms and a busy bar/restaurant operation. The site was shortlisted for the Best Pub with Rooms for this year’s Great British Pub Awards. The Three Crowns serves food all day including breakfast, lunches and evening meals. The successful candidates will work closely with the company management team to develop and maintain this exciting business

The role:
- To recruit, lead, motivate and develop the team.
- Day to day management of the restaurant.
- Full financial responsibility, including stocktaking, wage control and sales growth.
- Full responsibility for H&S, Food safety, fire safety and COSHH.
- Both hands on and strategic site management required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Pub/Restaurant/Hotel General Management position.
- A personal licence for the sale of alcohol.
- Passionate with excellent service standards.
- True team players who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and lead from the front.
- Flexible with their time as the role is on a 5 over 7 basis and therefore will require weekend work.
- Passion and care for your customers and team.
- Ability to create a warm, welcoming and fun atmosphere.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced venue.
- High personal and teamwork standards.
Salary:- up to £80,000 (couple)
Salary will include accommodation comprising of 2-bedroom first floor flat provided as a benefit in kind.

Salary: £70,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
