Job Description:
Role – Factory Labourer.
This role is responsible for aiding in the day to day running of the factory, assisting in the foundry, warehouse and ensuring product is moving through he production line.
Employment Package:
- Job type – Permanent.
- Hours – 44.5 hours per week.
- Salary – Competitive.
- Schedule – 9-hour shift Monday to Thursday. 6 Hour shift Friday.

Responsibility Activity Description
Goods In
Receive goods into the company using CJR’s internal enterprise resource management software. Aide with material delivery and ensure goods received are in good condition and to expectation.
Goods Out
Ensure that customer orders are boxed and despatched accurately. Load these orders onto the relevant vehicles in a safe and responsible manner in order to ensure that deliveries are made to the customer correctly. Ensure consumable parts are up to date on the system.
Pallet and Crate Making
Cut, assemble and build bespoke crates for shipping and pack product onto pallets for collections.
Store Keeping
Ensure the stores remain in a clean and safe working condition and store goods in the right location in order to maximise sales, minimising waste where possible
Forklift Operation
Operate forklift trucks for loading and unloading goods and storing in racking following operator safety checks and correct operation to ensure all goods are stored correctly and safely. Undertake any training required that relates to forklift driving and product lifting.
Truck Operation
Deliver product using company vehicles between CJR units when required, CJR have multiple hangar units with 500 meters of each other.
Crane Operation
Most products will need to be safely lifted onto the cutting table using cranes or hoists.
Housekeeping
Maintain the warehouse and site to a safe and clean standard to ensure ease of availability of stock, keep the site clean and tidy to ensure safe working practices and to allow the site to function efficiently and comply with safety legislation.
Health & Safety
Must adhere to company risk assessments and health and safety polices at all times.
General Production
There may be times where the wider production team require assistance, this will be on an as needed basis. You will be required to maintain a timely and consistent attendance record.
