Illingworth Ingham (M/cr) Ltd have been in business since 1929. We are an independent family run Timber Importer & Timber Merchant and have continued to be a successful business within the timber industry for nearly 100 years. With prospective growth plans for the future, we now have a requirement for a Laborer with Timber knowledge to join our team.What will I be doing in this role?The Labourer role is key to the productivity, either supporting one of our machinists and working within the larger team. Receiving moulded Hardwood and Softwood Timbers, Stacking & Packing down Timbers once machined. We class this as a Semi Light Labour Role, situated with your machine & machinist throughout the day.Or, as part of the picking and dispatch team, picking and quality control of a range of Hardwood and Softwood timbers from a pre-set picking sheet, preparing goods ready for dispatch or ready to be manufactured in the mill.What skills are we looking for?First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working; we would welcome you to apply if you can demonstrate the following key skills:Production aptitudeA keen eye for detail.Excellent time keeping skills.Quality control awarenessTimber Knowledge (Preferable)Please note that product and system training can be provided where applicants may lack this knowledge.
