Job description
Nick Tart Lettings are looking for an established Self-Employed Handyman contractor to join their list of trusted contractors local to Wolverhampton/Telford who would operate on a works order basis.
We are ideally looking for contractors who have knowledge of, but not limited to:
- Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns
- Installing household appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers
- Installing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
- Full house repaints/partial repainting, replastering desired
- Fitting shelves, hanging pictures and installing window locks
- Undertaking basic gardening / fencing etc.
- General handy work around residential properties
- Negotiating the scope of work and timescales with clients
- Providing itemised quotes and invoices
Separate quotations would need to be supplied per job, with zero call out charge for the initial quote appointment. Invoices paid within 30 days of job completion.
If approved we would need a Contractors Charter and GDPR contract signing, alongside receiving proof of any relevant qualifications and Public Liability Insurance up to at least £1,000,000.
