Job description
We’re looking for a General Foreman to join our A43 Highways Major Projects team based in Brackley to be responsible for the efficient management of site resources, labour teams and subcontractors, to ensure the safe delivery of the project. Within this role, you can enjoy company car or car allowance, private healthcare, competitive annual leave with the option to buy or sell and even more.
Location: Brackley – site based 5 days per week
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: up to £55k
Responsibilities
As a General Foreman, you’ll manage the resources such that the works are efficiently delivered and work with the Works Manager to effectively manage risks and identify opportunity
Your day to day will include:
- Help produce where required and work to construction programme
- Set self-delivery gangs to work and manage sub-contractor activities
- Supervise the work
- Planning/Programming and attend progress meetings as required
- Establish and maintain good quality and safe site set-up
- Order plants and materials for site and keeping track of stock

- experience in all aspects of construction
- experience in roads, earthworks and structures
