Job description
Job available on our family run Dairy Farm in Bulkington, near Melksham, Wiltshire.
We are looking for a reliable, hard working person who can work alone and as part of a team.
We milk 210 Holsteins with 70 followers. We use a Westfalia Herringbone parlour (18:18) and sand bedded cubicles which are used for housing in the winter. During the Summer months the majority of the herd is out to graze.
General farm duties will include yard work, cubicle husbandry, assisting with milkings, assisting youngstock feeding, field tractor work and general farm jobs. Grass and maize silage are undertaken in house.
We require a full time worker Tues-Friday and every other weekend.
