General Farm Worker on a Busy Arable Farm with a Commercial Grain Store & Solar Projects- North West Wiltshire
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team. We operate a 200ha arable farm growing combinable crops along side a commercial grain store, with associated drying, cleaning & testing facilities. We also produce animal feed in bulk for our trade customers. We are UFAS and TASSC registered business. In 2024 we will also be maintaining our own solar farms. This Job is varied!
Therefore we require a dedicated & conscious member of staff to join our team. You will be responsible for some arable operations, machinery maintenance & you must have had previous experience however PA1 & PA2 is not essential. Digger work and chainsaw work required during quieter times during the winter.
The successful candidate:
Must have good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
Works with precision and has attention to detail
Capable of working under your own initiative and as part of a team
Computer literacy is essential
Previous experience is essential
Generally this is a Monday to Friday role 45hrs pw, except during the summer months.
Excellent rates of pay dependent upon experience.
