Summary
Post: General Classroom Assistant
Start date: 1st September 2023 or earlier if available
Pendle Community High School and College are seeking to appoint a General Classroom Assistant. The post holder will be working with other staff to support learning by providing general assistance, through the preparation of teaching areas and equipment for pupils in one or more curriculum areas. To provide maintenance and support to enable effective delivery of Design & technology including Cooking & Nutrition and Catering.
Pendle Community High School and College moved into new purpose-built accommodation in 2008, where it is co-located with a mainstream secondary school. Our school and college both therefore provide an exciting and enriching environment, with a range of opportunities for social and educational inclusion.
The successful candidate would be joining a highly committed and dynamic staff team making a real difference to the lives of families, carers and young people with special educational needs.
If you feel you have the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience to undertake this role and are keen to make a difference to the lives of children with special needs, this post may be a fantastic opportunity for you.
