We are currently recruiting for the role of part time General Assistant – Damages and Checkouts at our Halifax Depot. The position is a key support in the depot and will include working on the checkouts to process customers transactions, alongside preparing customer orders for delivery the following day, handling damaged products and rewrapping for sale where possible.
Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:
- Working on the checkout to process customers transactions
- Answering customer queries
- Preparing customer orders for delivery
- Processing damaged products, disposing of irreparable items, and rewrapping salvageable items
- Managing the pricing reductions and presentation requirement needed for resale
- Keeping work area clear and organised
- Supporting other departments as required
To be a General Assistant, you should be:
- Polite and friendly
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Highly accurate and have excellent attention to detail in your work
- Able to prioritize work to ensure all tasks are completed

o Tuesday: 12:00pm – 18:00pm
o Wednesday: 14:00pm – 20:00pm
o Thursday 12:00am – 18:00pm
