Insurance Specialist

General & Speciality Insurance Specialist (SMEs with PMO Skills, and Business Analysis)

Role:

A General and Speciality Insurance specialist (SMEs with PMO skills, and business analysis) is required to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate role is a self-sufficient and fast paced and requires the individual to be is able to think outside the box and organise time and diary tasks effectively. The role will also include ad hoc duties as required by the business.

The Candidate must have worked with Insurance Institutions in a Senior Manager or Specialist role previously and then moved into a consulting role.

Duties:

  • Consistently ensure that priorities, tasks and efforts are focused on delivery outcomes of the General Insurance domain.
  • Work collaboratively across all transformation leads to ensure a consistent and customer- centric approach to the Insurance PNC competency.
  • Assess all existing customer journeys and mapping within scope of role to drive better results
  • Translate detailed requirements owned by Business Analysts in customer and business outcomes
  • Work with work stream sponsors to help agree and shape actions, implementation plans and resolve issues.
  • Develop & deliver a broad range of opportunities/leads that support the business to achieve its targets.
  • A proactive approach to researching businesses as well as new and innovative approaches to development to support the business and the development of the target audience.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of developing and delivering transformation programs with demonstrable value to the business.
  • Experience of developing new content through research; networking and independent thinking that can be delivered via a variety of platforms.
  • Expertise in Agile and ability to convert EPICs to user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Previous experience of working in a regulated environment is desirable.
  • Multi-site with travel experience desired
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with PMO Management and PMO methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - persuades and influences others, using a range of approaches, to achieve deliverables.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
