As a General Administrator at Colchester Garrison, You'll provide efficient administration to support the site. You're the one with the skills to ensure behind the scenes of facilities run like clockwork and ensure your managers feel supported. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:
- Provide immediate clerical support to the Unit or Headquarters deployed into
- Provide assistance to military personnel where required
- Produce high quality documentation as required by the Unit or Headquarters deployed into
- Producing / Maintaining / Updating Repeat Orders, Convening Orders, Delegation of Powers and Board of Enquiries.
- Acting as the initial contact for military personnel, families and outside organisation
- Answer all telephone calls promptly and in a polite and professional manner
What you bring:
- Excellent team ethos and superb inter-communication skills, you'll be a key people person on site.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent IT skills
- Be able to use Microsoft office platforms especially excel
- Good Telephone manner
- Previous administrative background
- Desire to grow and progress your career if you are interested
- a desire to grow into a HR role

Package Description- 6 Month Fixed term contract- starting from your issued start date
- 37 hours per week
- Monday-Thursday: 08:00-16:30
Friday: 08:00-13:00 - £10.42 per hour
- Full training provided
- Annual leave April - April 20 days per calendar year which increases with service
