Assistant Costa Manager - Showcase Cinema

Showcase is a leading multi-national cinema exhibitor who are passionate about delivering the very best film-going experience and we are working with Costa towards their vison of becoming the world’s number one coffee brand.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager in our Costa store at our cinema in Nantgarw.
The successful candidate will be a confident ambassador for the brand and will focus on customer satisfaction whilst inspiring and developing the team to be the best they can.
Key duties will include:
- Creating an environment where the customer is at the forefront of everything you do.
- Empowering your team through coaching and delegation, providing development opportunities and motivating them through sharing your vision to reach their full potential.
- Thinking ahead, you'll plan around local events and pro-actively look for opportunities to grow sales.
- By being focused on results you'll demonstrate good knowledge of the business, marketplace and competitors and make commercially focussed decisions.
- You'll be creative in your communication with the team and with the local community.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a management role in a retail or hospitality company, ideally within a branded coffee environment.
- The ability to lead, develop and motivate a team to achieve results
- Experience of running a successful business (we look at what you achieve as well as how you achieved it!)
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Enthusiasm to execute outstanding customer service
