An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Administrator to join our Benefits team. This role is based in our Darlington office, due to the nature of the role you will be required to come into the office 5 days a week.

The role
As General Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a high quality administration service for clients, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and the overall customer experience is positive. This included providing administrative support to the team and maintaining accurate mail distribution, printing and scanning documents whilst ensuring all in coming work is logged accurately to enable pensions to be calculated and paid correctly within SLAs.
The person
We are looking for individuals who are customer focused and thrive in working in a fast paced evolving environment. You will be passionate about doing a good job and be quality focused in your approach whilst being able to work to deadlines. The ability to interact in both a professional and compassionate way through written and verbal communication is essential as you will need to communicate with both colleagues and members through various channels including telephone, email and post.
Attention to detail and producing accurate work is key to succeeding in this role as you will be expected to ensure the casework completed is to the required quality standard, minimising errors or omissions which could lead to member complaints. You will be encouraged to identify and flag an area's for improvement.
