Graduate Business Partnership
Job Summary - The Education Support Team at the University are looking for a graduate who can provide an excellent first-line enquiry service for students and academic teaching staff. You will provide high quality general administration support as required for all taught programmes, and work effectively within the wider administrative team to deliver a seamless and high-quality service. You will be able to build on your administration experience and develop your communication skills working with a wide range of stakeholders in a HE setting. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and offers 36.5 hours per week for 6 months. You will be based in Building One Hub on Streatham Campus in Exeter. About You - You should be a graduate who excellent organisational and planning skills, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure, has high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, has fast and accurate data inputting skills, and the ability communicate effectively with precision and accuracy in person, in writing , and by telephone with a diverse range of people. You should have the ability or understanding of confidentiality practices and legal requirements under Data Protection, have excellent IT skills including proficiency in MS office and web-based programmes, and have knowledge of Higher Education and the issues facing Student Services. You should have relevant admin experience, experience of delivering excellent customer service and effectively handling complex enquiries and difficult customer encounters, and experience of working collaboratively and proactively in a team and with multiple team members to deliver to multiple objectives and high service standards. You should also have the ability to be flexible and deal with frequent interruptions whilst maintaining focus and accuracy, have confidence and ability to work independently with appropriate supervision, the ability to be flexible and adaptive to changes in task allocation and areas of responsibility, and a willingness to learn and actively seek training and development.
