Reading Tutor
GLC Academy: The Gateway Academy [Secondary]
Salary: GLC Point 10 £20,751 - Point 16 £23,354 FTE [Actual Pro rata salary £15,633 - £17,594
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only
Closing Date: 20th February 2023 at Midday
The Gateway Academy is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. A full-time reading tutor is required to support student in small group or one to one provision. The role will entail supporting students with low reading ages to make accelerated progress, ensuring they can read at an age appropriate standard or higher.
