Come and join us! We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Gatehouse Officer to join our team in Scunthorpe.

• This post is working a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, working 12 hour days and nights
• The rate of pay is £11.50 per hour

As a Gatehouse Officer you will:

• Operate and monitor the gatehouse, ensuring only authorised personnel enter the premises
• Be a first point of contact for visitors to the site
• Manage the weighbridge, accurately recording the weights of the vehicles and any other necessary information
• Conduct patrols to ensure the site is secure; appropriately addressing any security breaches
• Professionally answer any telephone calls to the site, providing assistance and redirecting enquires when required
• Conduct staff searches when necessary
• Escort staff off site when requested by their Manager
• Report any incidents, breaches or irregularities promptly to the appropriate authorities
• Ensure site/Health and Safety rules

• Be able to stay calm in high pressure situations
• Have high levels of attention to detail
• Be able to accurately record and document information
• Have the patience and desire to overcome language barriers
