SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components. Our experienced teams partner with our broad, global customer base, providing both technical expertise and broader support in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.
What will I be doing?
The role of MCM Technician is to be fully autonomous in carrying out level 1 to 3 Maintenance activities on the RTM322 Engine, within the Safran Helicopter Engines (UK) European Maintenance Centre Hub, Maintenance Centre Military (MCM) workshop. Working as part of the team to high Quality standards whilst maintaining the required Turn Around Times to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Carry out accurate reports on the condition of the engine on induction to identify the workscope required to return the engine to a serviceable state, liaising with the Technical Support Representative and Service Engineer as required.
- Create and maintain all the technical documentation throughout the intervention, Ensure all modules and parts are ordered in a timely manner to maintain the required TAT.
- Carry out the maintenance activities on the Engine or Module in accordance with the Safran HE maintenance documentation, policies and procedures.
- Carry out and certify all relevant recording, reporting and release documentation associated with any work carried out to standards defined in SafranHE maintenance documentation.
- Carry out secondary duties as defined by his/her Manager.
- Work in accordance with Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures.
- Work in accordance with HSE legislation. Identify and report any HSE risks to his/her Manager or HSE representative.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, working practices and take responsibility for implementation.
- Support and promote Company values and behaviours.

Job requirements
- Have a minimum of 3 years professional experience of gas turbine engine maintenance
- Demonstrate fluency in English
- Able to deal with internal and external customers on a technical level
- Be flexible with regards to working and training routines as directed
- Exhibit an ability to work unsupervised and operate to stringent timescales and targets
- Self-motivated and continually looking to improve standards and practices
- Experienced with carrying out detailed Borescope inspections of Gas turbine engines
- Have experience of working within an engine maintenance, service centre or MRO environment
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Part 145 regulation
- Be able to communicate in an effective and efficient way to a variety of different people
- Be able to know the basic principles of continuous improvement
