Your new role:
Within the team, you will be one of our consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the aerospace industry.
Within the System Design, Integration and Safety team, your main responsibilities will be:
- To lead the investigation into safety alerts and potential failure modes of gas turbine engines to determine the impact, primary and secondary effects, severity, root cause and potential resolution routes of the issue.
- To collaborate with cross-functional team members of all levels both internally and externally to provide leadership and guidance to the investigation process.
- To drive an integrated way of working between many key stakeholders and subject matter experts
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Engineering, with a result-oriented and proactive mind-set. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a gas turbine safety expert and a consultant.
Experience required:
- 3+ years of experience in gas turbine engineering, with a focus on systems integration or investigating potential risks and failures (SAR, FRACAS, FMECA etc)
- Strong knowledge of gas turbine components, systems and operations.
- Experience with data analysis, diagnostic tools and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications required:
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with demonstrable experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
